This is Us- Madi and Kadin. And honestly you don't really get one without the other.
We met in high school. Best friends first — the kind that turn into something you can't imagine your life without. From the very beginning we both had this deep, unshakeable feeling that we were supposed to do something with our lives. Not just live them. Impact them.
GRL is that something.
Who We Are
Madi is the dreamer, the listener, the one who will sit with you for as long as you need and make you feel heard. She loves to cook, bake, shop, and create — and has spent her whole life learning that what you believe about yourself becomes the life you live.
Kadin is the adventure, the energy, the one who walks into any room and immediately makes it better. He'll ask you every question he can think of, push you past every comfort zone you have, and make you laugh harder than you expected. Confidence comes naturally to him — and being around him makes it come more naturally to you too.
Together we are the balance. The homebody and the outdoorsman. The cook and the camper. The ones who never miss a Tuesday movie night and will seek out the best restaurant in any city we land in.
We do everything together. And we believe that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
Our Story
We both left America at 18 & 19 to serve missions for our church — Kadin in Malaysia and Singapore, Madi in London England. Those 18 months to 2 years apart from everything familiar gave us something most people spend their whole lives looking for — an unshakeable understanding of people. Of culture. Of what it actually means to give everything you have to something bigger than yourself.
It also gave us an intense drive to see the world. To learn from it. To never stop being curious about it.
When we came home we chose each other. We got married in the temple and started building — a life, a home, a family, a faith. We have two giant fluffy sheepadoodles, ten chickens, and a duck. We are always looking for the next thing to add to our world because we believe life is supposed to be full.
2025 tested everything we believed. We struggled. We gave everything we had to people we loved who were hurting. We questioned God's plan more times than we'd like to admit.
And then we watched Him come through. In ways we never could have engineered ourselves.
That season cracked us both open to something we'd always believed but had never fully lived — that God doesn't just watch your life unfold. He co-creates it with you. He has opinions. He has dreams for you that are bigger than the ones you have for yourself. And when you stop insisting on your version and start building alongside His —
Everything opens up.
GRL is what opened up for us.
What We Believe
We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our faith is the foundation of everything we do — but GRL was built for everyone who believes in something bigger than themself, whatever that looks like. We love people for exactly who they are and where they are. Always.
We believe God is the ultimate co-creator. That your mind is one of the most powerful tools He gave you. That confidence isn't something you either have or you don't — it's something you build, one belief at a time. That family comes before everything. That laughing is one of the best parts of being alive. That you should try the new restaurant, take the trip, say yes to the thing that scares you a little.
And we believe — with everything we have — that you were made for more than you're currently letting yourself believe.
That's why GRL exists.
Not because we had it all figured out. But because we didn't — and we found our way back anyway. Together. With God.
And now we get to do this part together too.
